SIEM REAP
Hotspots & Nightlife-
The nightlife and girls scene in Siem Reap is quite different than that of Phnom Penh, there is'nt any red light districts
But don't let this detur you, after all the main reason for coming to Siem Reap is to visit the ancient ruins of Angkor.
Most of the mainstream nightlife in Siem Reap is centered immediately around Pub Street, with 90% of all places in Pub Street being tourist-oriented restaurants and bars.
However there are four night clubs too, which are the best places to find attractive Khmer girls, and karaoke girls that go to them after they've finished work.
If you're travelling from Phnom Penh and find picking up women in a club a bit to challanging and don't fancy KTV (Karaoke) Bars ,you may be better off bringing a travelling companion along with you, if not don't worry because there is plenty of availanle attractive Khmer girls in Siem Reap too.
The four most popular nightclubs in Siem Reap are Temple Club on Pub Street, Hip Hop Club on Sok San Road, Cheers club and Galaxy Night Club 2km up the road from Pub Street.
THE TEMPLE CLUB
Temple is arguably not really a club. It is a lot of other things – restaurant, bar, and Apsara dance theatre, to start with – but the space for dancing is a little limited. Even so, it’s one of the most popular venues on Pub Street.
Draft beer at Temple Club is the standard pub street price at $0.50 a glass, this place gets really lively after about 11pm with a mostly tourist crowd.
Location: Pub Street, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Open: Daily from 8am to late
THE HIP HOP CLUB
Hip Hop Club is located a couple of streets over from its sister bar Temple Club on Pub Street in Siem Reap and is much more like what you would describe as a night club. Despite the name, a lot of the music played isn’t actually hip-hop, but mostly Khmer music and some international house beats.
Being away from Pub Street, the venue attracts more locals than tourists and has a pretty cool atmosphere, good drinks prices and some nice seating areas, there's also a lounge area upstairs with a few pool tables.
Location: Sok San Rd, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia
Open: Daily from 5pm until late
THE GALAXY CLUB
Galaxy Night Club formerly Hub Club is the most popular nightlife area for the local Cambodians. It’s located about 2km north from Pub Street and not on the mainstream tourist circuit . If you venture up there It’s not unlikely that you'll be the only foreigner in the entire club and what's even better that gets you a lot of attention from the ladies.
Location; Road to Angkor Wat, Mondol 3 Village, Sangkat Slokram
Open: Daily from 9pm until late
CHEERS CLUB
Cheers Club is probably the closest thing to what you’d call a proper club on Pub Street. As you would expect of its location, they offer cheap beers and cocktails and a great atmosphere with a mostly tourist crowd, though it is also pretty popular with locals.
Location: Street 11, Mondol 1 Village, 17252, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Open: Daily from 10am to to 3am

APSARA DANCE & DINNER SHOWS
Apsara Khmer traditional dance originates from Hindu mythology during the Angkor period and continues to branch out from Siem Reap today. A true Apsara dancer must come from Siem Reap and her career will end when she turns 26.
Several restaurants and hotels in Siem Reap present Apsara dance shows.Shows durations average around 2 hours.
Most shows include the 4 genres of traditional Khmer dance: Apsara Dance, Masked Dance, Shadow Theatre, and Folk Dance. These are abbreviated dances for tourists, and unfortunately there's usually little or no explanation as to the origin and meaning of the dances as they are performed. They are still interesting and a must-see when in Siem Reap.
Among the few venues showing these dances are Apsara Terrace at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, Apsara Theatre & Restaurant at the Angkor Village Hotel in Wat Bo Village, and Koulen Restaurant on Sivutha Street.
