Bars or nightclubs, there is no doubt that Phnom Penh, certainly has the most exciting vibrant nightlife which makes it the best place to party in Cambodia. And while the various venues are scattered across the city, it’s never more than a $2 USD Tuk Tuk ride to get from one place to another. However the entertainment and nightlife industry in Cambodia has been hit hard and Phnom Penh  is no exception.

Post-pandemic, business owners along Street 136 in Phnom Penh and other venues across the city are already facing the prospect of three to five years of significantly lower arrivals of foreign tourists, and now after months of months of being shut, nightlife and entertainment operators are being threatened with permanent closure.

NOTE "So much for the Government supporting small businesses!"
